October 1, 2015, was a glorious day, when a set of two brother bob kittens were released into the Texas wilderness. Their den was destroyed by Houston area construction. Mother bobcat was nowhere to be found. Urbanization closed in on the wide-opened prairie and field they called home.
So I had a special order for my Texas pecan oil infused beard balm for the King. As I try to relax from a very busy weekend, I add the frankincense to the beard balm and I just suddenly feel calm. As I made it, my son comes up and wants to help.
Today was a day of many sorts. Breath in. Breath out. I encountered many emotions throughout. What to do on facing change. Do I sit here in my most imperfect moment and embrace all that is flowing in, good and bad? Karate chop! Zig Zag. Crunch boom bang. I say, sure why not.
Think a happy thought and you will fly Peter… We are all pirates and there are treasures everywhere, you just are gonna have to believe in that one. Today I found a few treasures. I harvested a yellow tomato from the school garden along with some oregano and a summer squash blossom!
Love is the answer to many riddles and anxiety episodes. We are made of cracks and so many different emotions seep into those cracks. Either it blooms into something beautiful or fests into something dirty. But in the end of your humble journey in life, love truly is the answer.
